Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Partify is the agency responsible for the personal information collected through this site, under the Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and why.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the service.

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and password
• Order details: delivery and billing addresses, order history and communications with support
• Vehicle details: registrations, VINs and saved garage vehicles you enter to find parts
• Payment details: handled by our payment provider — we store only the card brand and last four digits
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the site

3. How we use it

We use your information to process and deliver orders, provide support and warranty cover, prevent fraud, meet our legal obligations, and improve the catalogue and fitment data.

With your consent we also send marketing emails about parts and offers. You can withdraw that consent at any time from the link in any email or from your account settings.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to complete what you asked for: with the seller fulfilling your order, with couriers and freight carriers for delivery, with our payment provider to take payment, and with service providers who host and support the platform under contract.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Where it is stored

Our systems and some service providers are hosted overseas, which means your information may be stored outside New Zealand. Where that happens we require comparable safeguards to those under the Privacy Act 2020.

6. How long we keep it

Order and tax records are kept for seven years to meet our legal obligations. Account data is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

7. Security

Access to personal information is restricted to staff who need it, traffic is encrypted in transit, and card details never reach our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so we also monitor for unusual activity and notify affected people where a breach is likely to cause serious harm.

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Most of it can be viewed and edited directly in your account. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 20 working days.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and understand how the site is used. Our Cookies Policy explains each category and how to control them.
