What the warranty covers

The warranty covers the part failing in normal use because of a defect, or because its condition did not match how it was described when you bought it. If that happens we repair, replace or refund the part.

What it does not cover

Cover does not extend to damage caused after the part left the seller.

• Incorrect installation, or installation by someone who is not suitably qualified
• Wear items consumed in normal use, such as pads, filters and belts
• Damage from an accident, overheating, contaminated fluids or a related failed part
• Parts modified, disassembled or with their identification markings removed
• Labour, towing, diagnostics, hire cars and other consequential costs

Fitting requirements

Mechanical parts such as engines, gearboxes, turbos and diffs must be fitted by a qualified mechanic, and the invoice for that work is what activates the cover. Keep it — we ask for it with any claim.

Where the manufacturer requires related items to be replaced at the same time, such as a timing belt or oil and filters with an engine, doing so is a condition of the cover.

Making a claim

Open the order in your account and start a claim on the part, or contact us with your order number. Include the fitting invoice, a description of the fault and any diagnostic report or photos you have.

We assess claims within two business days. Approved claims are resolved by replacement where stock allows, and by refund where it does not.

Your statutory rights

These warranties sit alongside the guarantees you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and do not limit them. Where a part is bought for business use, the Act may not apply and this warranty is the cover that stands.
